About Us

Is a programme of initially small-scale but then growing investment in sustainable micro-business development in Somalia, one of Africa’s most fragile states. The programme is driven by the passion of Somali businessmen based in the UK, local Somali experts in Somalia and is aligned with and informed by the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Our mission is to develop social entrepreneurial individuals, concepts, programs in the Horn of Africa. We will accomplish this through research, design and implementation of initiatives and programs that train individuals and start up community organizations.

Social Entrepreneurship

A social entrepreneur is a person who is attuned to both business and the big picture; who applies his or her business expertise to create social value; and who provides smart solutions to the community problems by thinking like an entrepreneur. Traditionally, entrepreneurs have focussed on products, services and profits. We believe entrepreneur can achieve more social impact that is above and beyond business success. They can leverage their skills and resources to address serious social needs, expand their impact and bolster communities, neighbourhoods and services in the place they do business.
